We will provide all the mentoring and support to get you through to an A Grade Electrician. We are looking for committed applicants who are enthusiastic to learn and develop new skills. Working for NECA Education & Careers means you need to be willing to travel all over Melbourne and be able to work with new people, working with different A Grade Electricians on varying sites. The successful apprentice will gain experience by assisting in various tasks and duties, including but not limited to: Install and maintain equipment, appliances, and fittings Work in commercial and domestic sector Install power and lighting circuits, data, air conditioning, hot water units, fire and smoke alarms, switchboards, and control boards Working in tight and confined spaces Climbing ladders, lifting, and carrying tools and supplies Working in both indoor and outdoor settings in a variety weather conditions   Apprentices are required to attend a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), to complete off the job training and study a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electricians.   The ideal candidates will: Ideally completed a Pre-Apprenticeship course (Certificate II in Electrotechnology)  Understand safety is our priority and will need to be yours Enjoy learning on the job and in a classroom Can adjust to different work environments Can communicate effectively and clearly Are punctual and take pride in their work Work well in teams and have great communication skills Enjoy problem solving and working with their hands Hold a current driver’s licence (reliable transportation)   If you have answered YES to all the above and wish to commence your Electrotechnology qualification with the Industry Leader, this could be the position for you.
